I'm Summer Lovin': Fire Pit!

Nothing says summer quite like a good summer cookout.  From steaks to s'mores, everything tastes better when cooked outside on a nice barbeque.  Soon-to-be-hubby decided to take this one step further and build a fire pit in our backyard.  We started with just cinderblocks:

To finish it off, we added a wood border and some ivy at the bottom.  Tile around the top gave it a professional look:

But does it work?

You bet!  These yummy veggie skewers were a great start to the summer!
